Playing Hockey in Canada
Hockey is Canada's game and international players have the opportunity to play in the world's best ice hockey development leagues. Coach 63 trains and develops hockey players to learn the Canadian style of hockey.
Mentor & Coach
Loren Gabel is a native of Kitchener, Ontario, and a member of the Canadian National women's hockey team. She made her debut for the Canadian National team in November of 2018 at the Four Nations Cup in Saskatoon. In 2019, Loren was awarded the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award which is presented annually to the top female hockey player in NCAA Division I women's hockey.
Director of Hockey Development
Paul has dedicated 25 + years to coaching hockey in Kitchener-Waterloo. His relentless passion for the game of hockey and commitment to player development has lead to team & player success on and off the ice. Coach Paul spent 5 seasons as an Assistant Coach & Director of Player Development with the Waterloo Wolves U18 team. For the past two seasons, Paul held the position of Director of Player Personnel with the St. Marys Lincolns Jr.B (GOJHL). This summer, Coach Paul signed with the Collingwood Blues as a Scout.
Head Skate Instructor
Larry Gabel opened G & G Skate Training Centre in January of 2008. Larry had taught fundamentals with KMHA for 12 years prior to opening G & G and has coached hockey at all levels in Minor Hockey. He saw a need to improve all players skating abilities which lead him to open G & G Skate Training
His knowledge of stride mechanics is second to none with utilizing the Skating Treadmill and has taught many players in minor hockey as well as Jrs A, B, C, NCAA, and players playing professional hockey.
